Projectors by brightness
Brightness of 1,000 ANSI
lumens (standard by which brightness of projector light is
measured) will project a good image in a well lit room.
Higher brightness allows larger images for presentations to more
people.
Under 1,500 ANSI lumens,
1,500-2,500 ANSI lumens,
2,600 ANSI lumens and over.

Projectors by resolution
A computer image is made up of dots on screen. The more dots,
the better the quality of the image. SVGA is
made up of 800 x 600 dots. XGA projectors
1,024 x 768 dots. Most modern notebooks use XGA. SXGA 1,280 x 1,024 dots. UXGA 1,600 x 1,200 dots.
